Return Policy

We want you to love your purchase! Please read the following carefully to understand our policy on returns, especially for custom-made items.

Return Policy – Custom & Non-Custom Items

We offer a 15-day return window for non-custom items. This means you have 15 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return on non-custom items, your item must be in the same condition you received it: unworn or unused, with tags (if applicable), and in its original packaging. You will also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Custom and personalized items are non-refundable and non-returnable, unless they arrive damaged or defective. This includes all made-to-order products where you provide images, text, or other personalization. This is in accordance with U.S. law, which allows businesses to exclude custom goods from standard return policies.

Please ensure all custom order details are correct before submitting your order. Once submitted, changes cannot be made, and we are not responsible for typos, image quality, or other errors provided by the customer.

How to Request a Return

To start a return for a non-custom item or to report a damaged/defective custom product, contact us at backwoodsdesignsbyjen@gmail.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label and instructions on how and where to send your package.

Items sent back to us without prior approval will not be accepted and will not be returned to you.


Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon delivery. If your item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item, contact us immediately at backwoodsdesignsbyjen@gmail.com so we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Photos will be required to process damage claims.

  • Sale or clearance items


Exchanges

If you'd like to exchange a non-custom item, the fastest way is to return the item (if eligible) and place a new order once your return is approved.


Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll notify you if the refund has been approved. If so, it will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note that your bank or credit card provider may take additional time to process and post the refund.
